Spend your summer conducting hands-on health equity research at Mayo Clinic through the 2025 Health Equity Research Experience. This 10-week summer research experience provides Illinois undergraduates with the opportunity to examine health disparities and become fully immersed in the research and culture of a major medical center with top-notch scientists.
Selected students will receive support from a faculty mentor and a $6,000 stipend to cover living expenses. They will also participate in a program orientation, poster session, and celebration alongside Illinois students selected for the Mayo Clinic Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) program.
If you are interested in applying for the Health Equity Research Experience at Mayo Clinic this summer, be sure to review the eligibility and application process. Outstanding sophomore and junior undergraduates are encouraged to apply for Illinois pre-selection by Jan. 28.
