The Legal Humanities Research Group presents "Censoring Palestine," a lecture by Dima Khalidi, founder and director of Palestine Legal & Cooperating Counsel Center for Constitutional Rights. After her talk, there will time for a brief Q&A.
Event Description: "When it comes to talking about freedom and human rights for Palestinians, there is suddenly a 'Palestine Exception' to free speech. Why is talking about Palestinian freedom so vilified, why do our institutions, elected officials, and lobby groups go to such lengths to shut down a growing justice movement, and what's at stake for all of us?"
