The Illinois Program for Research in the Humanities and The Women and Gender in Global Perspectives Program co- host an annual event bringing together faculty, staff, students, and community members to recognize people who have made a difference in academia. Each speaker will have five minutes to tell the story of the woman in his or her discipline that changed the field in important ways.
