Beckman Core Facilities Tech Talk

Join us in 1005 Beckman October 20, 2026 for our second Fall Tech Talk with Wawrzyniec L Dobrucki, Neil and Carol Ruzic Faculty Scholar, Associate Professor of Bioengineering and Medicine and Goodluck Okoro, Graduate Student, Bioengineering.  

Dr. Dobrucki will cover the new scanner’s performance characteristics, including sensitivity, resolution, multimodal registration, and dynamic acquisition.  He will also highlight what the new system makes possible compared with the previous platform and include two or three selected application examples.  Goodluck Okoro will cover computational methods for extracting quantitative structural and functional measurements from molecular imaging data.
