[EVENT POSTPONED]
The techniques and methods of water management in the classical Chinese landscape design had made significant progress during the Han Dynasty. Taking advantage of the natural environment and the knowledge in topography, water management, and pond construction, the landscape design of this period paid special attention to the aquatic scenes and the harmony with relevant factors. By this notion, the designers were able to create an attractive and habitable environment.
