Jen Heemstra, a chemical and engineering news columnist and associate professor of chemistry at Emory University returns to Illinois for a lecture and innovative poster session at the Beckman Institute.
Her lecture (at 2 p.m. in the Beckman auditorium) will explain why success is more likely when you're willing to fail.
A poster session will follow in the Beckman atrium. Beckman researchers will demonstrate a new simple poster format that may more effectively highlight research than traditional science posters.
