Our ability to comprehensively map the synaptic connections between all neurons in the human brain (the connectome), holds the key to understanding how neural circuits process information to mediate brain functions. In this talk, I will discuss about several new technologies my lab is developing to study the functional connectome and its associated molecular constituents, integrating connectomics, proteomics, transcriptomics, and epitranscriptomics to illuminate the mechanisms governing brain structure and function across scales.
