Building Creative Confidence is a workshop led by the Siebel Center for Design that empowers students to use creativity to facilitate problem-solving through collaboration and critical thinking. This workshop encourages confidence in making creative leaps, leading to innovation.

About the Speaker: Miriam Salah is a Research Fellow at Siebel Center for Design’s Academic Programs team. She holds an MFA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Driven by her experience as a graphic designer and a chef, her research interests lie at the intersection of Design and Food. Bringing this unique interdisciplinary perspective to her work, she helped propose and co-teach a Design Thinking for Food Service course in collaboration with Hospitality Management. At SCD, Miriam’s responsibilities include developing tools and content on Human-Centered Design and Design Thinking for various workshops, seminars, and course collaborations.
