Opening Day | "In Search of a Future " Exhibition

In Search of a Future, gathers a selection of work from the Krannert Art Museum’s collection by artists who engaged critically with the social and political upheavals and turmoil of their times. These artists rose to moment, producing powerful works of art and political commentary that sought more humane and equitable futures for all. There are strong parallels between our current crisis in human rights and these historical precedents. In Search of a Future invites audiences to consider these connections, and to use this exhibition as a space for collective reflection and dialogue about the capacity of art to reveal difficult truths and dare us to build more just futures. Curated by Kathryn Koca Polite. On view through May 15.
