Join us for a virtual presentation in the School of Art & Design Visitors Series by designer Shannon Bruce Elliott.

Shannon Bruce Elliott, Footwear Designer, will be discussing her own transition from apparel design to footwear, highlights from her extensive career in the footwear industry, issues around sustainability and product development, and practical advice for pursuing an interest in footwear design.

About the Designer

STORYTELLING, LEADERSHIP, & DESIGN THINKING: Shannon Bruce Elliott is the Footwear Design Director for Columbia Sportswear Company in Portland, OR.

She has over 20 years of athletic footwear industry experience, designing, mentoring, and leading design teams for Reebok, Keds, and Tommy Hilfiger, as well as entrepreneurial experience as Owner and Creative Director of Jeté & Co.

Elliott is a passionate, driven, professional who loves designing for consumers who are in pursuit of an active life, well-lived.
