All Illinois students are welcome to join the Department of Aerospace Engineering for an information session with Blue Origin. Blue Origin was founded with a vision of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. Blue Origin envisions a time when people can tap into the limitless resources of space and enable the movement of damaging industries into space to preserve Earth, humanity’s blue origin.

OPPORTUNITIES

The Summer 2025 Internship Program is 12-weeks in length and is available to undergraduate and graduate level engineering and business students at Blue Origin locations nationwide, including Seattle, Cape Canaveral, Huntsville, and West Texas. Internships include competitive pay, arranged housing and relocation support. Gain real-world experience; our interns contribute to important projects and are embedded within our engineering and business teams. Students who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program and have at least one semester of school after the internship are welcome to apply.

New graduate candidates are encouraged to search for all opportunities that include the words “Early Career” in the title. Opportunities includes the New Graduate Rotation Program and direct hire roles.

Applicants for employment at Blue Origin must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
