Children, more than adults, are vulnerable to the effects of environmental exposures as they grow. Exposures like air pollution and social stressors, which can be measured at the home, school, and neighborhood level, likely have both individual and joint impacts on several children’s health outcomes. In this talk, I’ll discuss some of my recent work exploring how I have used spatial data sets to explore the relationships between environmental exposures across several domains and children’s health and how my recent work has led me to new questions about how we can use these data to guide public health research.
