A large and rapidly increasing number of devices that are geo-locatable and wirelessly connected to the internet are generating a flood of data that is overwhelming contemporary methods of analysis.  In this presentation, I examine multiple dimensions of these extensive data flows, particularly as they are relevant to geospatial analysis, and sketch out research opportunities and challenges in each dimension.  I then turn to the development of a "geospatial data golden rule" to focus attention on emerging ethical issues that arise as a consequence of working with extensive, linkable geospatial data.
