Join us for a unique cultural adventure to Lafayette, Indiana for the Feast of the Hunters’ Moon, an annual festival that re-creates the 18th-century gathering of French fur traders and Native Americans at historic Fort Ouiatenon. This exciting trip offers the chance to step back in time and experience the sights, sounds, and tastes of early America.
Highlighted activities include:
- Experiencing live historical reenactments with costumed participants portraying life in the mid-1700s
- Enjoying performances by Native American drummers, French folk singers, fife and drum corps, and other period musicians
- Exploring vendors offering unique historical wares and demonstrations
- Tasting authentic festival food such as Native American fry bread (food purchases are on your own)
