On behalf of the Deans of the Colleges of Education, CI Med, and Grainger Engineering, in collaboration with their Faculty Development Leadership Teams, we are excited to announce an inaugural “Collaboration through Innovation” session on February 19, 2024, 1-3 PM at 4025 Campus Instructional Facility (1405 W. Springfield, Urbana). It would be a great joy to have you join this session!
This is the first in a series of 3 events designed to bring faculty together from across our 3 colleges, to share ideas, promote synergies, and to develop research collaborations.
Here's a quick look at what you can expect on February 19:
- Dean Rashid Bashir, Grainger College of Engineering, Dean Mark S. Cohen, Carle Illinois College of Medicine, and Dean Chrystalla Mouza, College of Education will introduce the goals of our programs.
- Faculty collaborators—Drs. Ruby Mendenhall, David Huang, Ann-Perry Witmer, and Molly Goldstein—will provide brief presentations, as examples of successful cross-college research collaborations
- Panel discussion - Q&A from the audience
- Opportunity to meet and mingle with other attendees. Light refreshments will be provided.
This is an excellent opportunity to maximize opportunities for engagement and networking to form new collaborations across the campus!
The other sessions are:
- March 6, 2024, from 3-5 PM at CI MED (MSB 274)
- April 8, 2024, from 11 AM- 1 PM at College of Education (O’Leary Center, Room 10)
