Large-scale change initiatives focused on improving the quality of student experiences are essential if students are to succeed in higher education. This Institute offers your campus team a contextualized, project-based professional learning opportunity to get better at how you collectively: (1) Use data to design change initiatives that improve the quality of student experiences, assess them, and plan subsequent steps; (2) Engage your whole campus in evidence-based change initiatives that promote student learning and success; (3) Address opportunity gaps & cultivate equity mindsets; (4) Create conditions that promote faculty leadership; (5) Develop a sustainable model for learning-centered professional development for all campus educators, including contingent faculty; and (6) Continuously revise student learning outcomes for your institution, your programs, and your courses.
The cost is $1,400 (per team member). The cost of the institute includes on-campus housing from Sunday night through Wednesday night; all materials, workshops, concurrent sessions and plenaries; and all meals except one (Tuesday dinner) beginning with Sunday dinner and ending with Thursday morning grab-n-go breakfast.
