Please join us for Introducing ARPA-H: A New Era in Health Research and Innovation on September 12 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the Beckman Institute (Room 2269), presented by ARPA-H Program Manager Paul Sheehan. This talk will be hosted by Ralph. A. Andersen Endowed Chair in Mechanical Science and Engineering Bill King and will introduce the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H).
ARPA-H is a funding agency that supports high-impact research capable of driving biomedical and health breakthroughs that can deliver transformative, sustainable, and equitable health solutions for everyone. ARPA-H's mission focuses on leveraging research advances for real-world impact. The agency began operations in 2022 and has launched about 20 new programs since then. This talk describes ARPA-H's goals and interests, its working model, and ways to engage. Please note that registration is not required but appreciated.
