Join us to hear author Courtney M. Cox speak about her new book, Double Crossover: Gender, Media, and Politics in Global Basketball. Cox will be joined by Jules Boykoff, professor at Pacific University, where he teaches in the Politics & Government department. He is the author of six books on the politics of the Olympics, most recently What Are the Olympics For? (Bristol University Press, 2024).

Courtney M. Cox is an assistant professor in the Department of Indigenous, Race, and Ethnic Studies at the University of Oregon and the co-director of The Sound of Victory, a multi-platform digital humanities project.
