Decoloniality of knowledge and open scholarship: A comparative study of the libraries at the University of Brasília and University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
In this talk, Dr. Costa presents preliminary research findings that analyze the main characteristics and trends of informational products and services that contribute to overcoming inequalities in scholarship at the libraries of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Brasília. This research further seeks to gather elements from diverse contexts to expand the range of possibilities for the actions of academic libraries in view of their commitments to the pursuit of knowledge and creativity by their academic community and society.
