Need to write an abstract for a conference, journal submission, thesis or dissertation, or class assignment? The Writers Workshop will discuss components of an effective abstract, review examples of published abstracts across fields, and ask you to practice writing your own based on an in-session prompt. This presentation will be useful for writers at many stages. We encourage students applying to the Undergraduate Research Symposium to register for this event.
This event will be held through Zoom. It is open to current University of Illinois affiliates (students, faculty, and staff). Please register with your University of Illinois email account by 11:59pm CT on February 14, and we will send an email with the Zoom meeting invitation on the morning of the event.
