Campus Humanities Calendar

The Contemporary Conversations program series instigates conversations around contemporary cultural issues, themes, and ideas. The Spurlock Museum is hosting a conversation to connect with the exhibit Debates, Decisions, Demands: Objects of Campaigns and Activism. This virtual program explores notable campaigns and past political issues that have shaped contemporary Illinois.

This program is moderated by Exhibit Curator Dr. Nathan Tye, Assistant Professor of History at the University of Nebraska, Kearney. Panelists include: Kathryn Oberdeck, Ph.D., Associate Professor of History, Department of History; Ian Toller-Clark, Ph.D. Candidate, Department of History; Augustus Wood, Postdoctoral Research Associate, School of Labor and Employer Relations.
