The Second Book Project Symposium brings together scholars from across the field of American literary studies. This fall's symposium will be held over the course of two days, on September 25 and 26. It features talks on topics ranging from queer history and sexual violence to "slave play," by five respected scholars: Greta LaFleur, Douglas Jones, Alisha Gaines, Rebekah Sheldon, and David J. Vázquez. The symposium begins at 10:00 a.m. on September 25 and 9:30 a.m. on Saturday 26. See the full schedule.
