CITL Statistics, Data, and Survey Research Workshop Series

R I: Getting Started with R workshops will cover the following topics:

  1. Basic R syntax
  2. Common R packages
  3. Importing data sets from other software such as SPSS, Excel, and Stata
  4. Computing new variables and recoding variables
  5. Creating frequency and contingency tables
  6. Obtaining univariate statistics
  7. Handling output

Each workshop will last for 2 hours
