Accessibility is often associated with web content in HTML, but other common document types support adaptive technology. In this hands-on workshop participants will learn how to make common word processing documents accessible for screen readers, and how to make presentation documents accessible for a range of users. We'll work with Adobe PDFs, MS Word and PowerPoint, and in Google Docs and Slides, and will discuss strategies for accessibility in pedagogy and scholarly communications.
