The Leadership Certificate Program (LCP) is a multi-semester, self-customization program for any Illinois student.
This program is designed to provide you with a customized experience for developing leadership competencies from the Illinois Model of Leadership through leadership education and training, co-curricular involvement, self-reflection, and coaching.
The PDP serves as the foundation of the program and must be submitted for participants to be considered active. It consists of three main components: your personal definition of leadership, objectives to develop four leadership competencies, and a completion timeline. We also ask you to include some personal information, any coach preferences, and a current resume.
You must complete all six modules of the LCP online training and have your PDP approved in order to be considered an active, enrolled participant in the program. After you have been officially enrolled, you will be assigned to a cohort and matched with a Leadership Coach.
