Join us for a student-led discussion on the experience of founding and running a start-up in graduate school. Come with questions!
Our featured speaker is Arpit Dwivedi. Arpit is a PhD candidate in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois and owns a start-up, Cache Energy, located in the Research Park. He has also founded and ran a Materials Engineering consultancy start-up for the last 4 years.
About Cache Energy: Cache Energy is solving one of the most pressing problems facing the world today – the shift to clean energy. At present, there are no technologies to store energy for >4 hours, economically. Cache Energy is developing an unprecedented, novel technology that can store clean energy at room temperature for ~100s of hours. The technology will have a remarkable impact on the world’s transition to clean energy.
