SE290 - Lindsay Winn

Lindsay Winn graduated from the University of Illinois in December 2000 with a degree in General Engineering — now Industrial and Enterprise Systems Engineering (IESE) — and a secondary field in Computer Science. Her career since then has spanned engineering, project management, strategic planning, and IT.

After graduating, Lindsay worked as an applications engineer at Altera Corporation, then in systems engineering at Boeing. After a decision to move to Chicago, Lindsay briefly worked in a pure project management role before leaving for a capital procurement role at Kraft Foods Global. These roles gave her experience in semiconductors, aerospace, and consumer goods — but more importantly, in requirements management, customer communications, and vendor oversight. She returned to school for her MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and it was during the summer of her MBA program that she joined Molson Coors Beverage Company as an intern (then MillerCoors).

At Molson Coors, Lindsay has built her career across a series of increasingly strategic roles, including Commercial Planning Manager and Senior Manager of Marketing Planning, and served as a program lead during the integration of Molson Coors and MillerCoors. In 2022, she stepped out of her day-to-day role to lead a special project moving Molson Coors' global data centers to the public cloud, and most recently focused on product model transformation for commercial technology in North America. Today, Lindsay is Vice President of Global Transformation at Molson Coors, where she leads the company's global SAP S/4 initiative.

Lindsay lives in Chicago with her husband John and three children aged 18, 16, and 12. Her hobbies include biking/running, cooking new vegetarian recipes, travelling with the family, and doting on the family mutt, Lydia. She also spends untold hours passionately cheering on various youth sports.
