Lynn Sutton founded Kairos Consulting Worldwide in 2004, applying engineering principals to critical business processes, creating time and cost efficiencies that also reduce errors and increase quality in the utilities, oil & gas, government and IT space.
Kairos Worldwide addresses the growing efficiency demands of the federal government and international corporations with a team of seasoned professional dedicated to operational efficiencies. Among its recent accomplishments Kairos produced:
- Millions of dollars in savings for a major utility focused on improving processes for construction projects;
- Tens of millions of dollars in savings for the U.S. Navy / Department of Defense;
- Created 25 productivity improvements for Lufthansa Technik;
- Increased productivity by 40 percent within the IT division of Hospira Worldwide, Inc.
An accomplished business and technology strategist, Lynn spent 12 years at Kraft Foods helping the company to reach its operational and financial goals before opening Kairos to bring her experience and knowledge of process engineering to regional, national and international firms.
Lynn, who earned a degree in industrial engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earned a certificate from Harvard Business School Executive Education program; is a supporting partner of Women’s Energy Network (WEN) Chicago, a global organization that educates, attracts, retains and develops professional women working across the energy value chain. She is also a trustee of Chicago Architecture Center and a former board member to the Illinois Institute for Entrepreneurship Education, an organization focused on the economic development of its communities.
Citing Kairos’ success, Lynn was named “Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year – Rising Star” by the Women’s Business Development Center in 2006 and a 2019 Business Leader of Color by Chicago United. In 2014, Kairos Worldwide was named HubZone Small Business of the Year by the US Department of Energy
