Scott Morrison is Vice President, Continuous Improvement for Kodiak Building Partners. In this role, Scott works with Kodiak’s companies across the US to teach them how to identify and systematically reduce and eliminate waste in their processes, with the ultimate goal of streamlining processes in company operations and launching a culture of continuous improvement.
Previously, Scott had an independent consulting firm, Scott Morrison Consulting, LLC, that began working with LBM dealers in 2006, and worked exclusively with LBM dealers across the US starting in 2017. His experience prior to that, spanning forty years, was in manufacturing plants in the fields of Quality, Engineering, and Operations. Hands on experience, besides LBM dealers, includes the health care, electronics, and automotive supplier industries.
Scott has Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Volunteer work throughout Scott’s career includes various roles in church, college alumni, and state-wide/community organizations, and currently he is a board member of the University of Illinois’ Industrial and Systems Engineering alumni association.
