Join us for the upcoming CEE Spring Faculty Research Webinar, featuring assistant professor Frank Lombardo! Learn about Lombardo's research and the Extreme Wind Resilience Center -- a new research center for extreme wind events. A joint effort between UIUC’s departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Atmospheric Sciences, the center will leverage world-class expertise from multiple disciplines to reduce the impacts of extreme wind events, including tornadoes, hurricanes and derechos.
