Immigration law compliance can be a source of confusion for non-U.S. citizens living and working in the U.S. (as well as for their employers). This presentation will provide an overview of some of the key requirements and considerations for commonly used immigration categories in the tech sector. Coverage will include working under F-1, CPT, OPT, STEM OPT extension, H-1B, employment-based permanent residence categories, and the TN. Lunch will be available, first come first served.
