Are you interested in a career at the intersection of science, business, and law? The Graduate College Career Development Office has partnered with the University of Illinois Office of Technology Management (OTM) to design a one-day experience to give interested graduate students an opportunity to try out the work done at this dynamic campus unit.
About OTM: The University of Illinois is a leader in generating innovations that translate into products, services, companies, and jobs that positively impact human lives and economic well-being. The Office of Technology Management moves the innovations that result from University research into public use by protecting and licensing University intellectual property.
The Office of Technology Management has designed this experience particularly for students with a life sciences background. We are interested in learning about the ways potential participants bring diverse experiences and perspectives, so applicants from all science backgrounds are encouraged to apply. No previous experience is required. The day will include meetings with collaborators; a guided hands-on project; informational interviews with staff; and a free lunch!
