Are you a scientist interested in professional communication? Or come from a communications background but curious about science? There are many career options that intersect with science communication. That's why the Graduate College Career Development Office has partnered with the Illinois Coordinated Science Laboratory (CSL) to design a one-day experience to give interested graduate students an opportunity to try out and learn more about the work done by professional science communicators.
The Coordinated Science Laboratory is interested in learning about the ways potential participants bring diverse experiences and perspectives, so applicants from all backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. No previous experience is required. The day will include a guided, hands-on project; interactions with professional science communicators; and free lunch!
