She’s a farmer. He’s a pest

This award-winning movie follows the story of Fatuma, a Tanzanian woman and the matriarch of her family, as she struggles to feed and hold her rural family together. Being a strong adherent of tradition, Fatuma suffers in silence as her parasitic husband, Manyusi, makes decisions that threaten to tear apart the fabric of her family. However, when her husband squanders her prized harvest and schemes to marry off their daughter, Fatuma is forced to take a daring stand to protect her family.
