The core goal of text reading is information acquisition. This study investigates the mechanisms underlying reading difficulties in information acquisition. Large language models are adopted to quantify textual information structure, while eye trackers record information-processing characteristics during natural reading. This method supports the assessment of reading difficulties and generates intelligently optimized materials for remediation training.
