I will discuss a new tool for studying the gauge-gravity correspondence (a duality between quantum theories without gravity and quantum theories with gravity.) It is well known that the large-N limit of certain SU(N) like gauge theories are an important class of quantum theories that potentially have a dual gravitational description. I will directly confront the large N limit of such theories using the language of quantum error correction (QEC). QEC codes have traditionally been posited as toy models of the correspondence, yet here we give a precise realization. This also allows us to study the emergence of non-trivial operator algebras, which are expected to be important for gravitational theories, from such large-N limits.
