Danielle Gore is a Principal Engineer with Eli Lilly and Company in the Bioproduct Research & Development organization. She graduated from the University of Illinois in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular & Cellular Biology and from Northwestern University in 2014 with a Master of Science in Biotechnology. Danielle interned with Lilly while attending Northwestern and joined Lilly full time upon graduation. She worked as an engineer in the cell culture process development group for 6 years. In her current role, she develops cell-based analytical tests that are used in manufacturing to measure the potency of large-molecule drugs. Danielle also serves as an intern leader for Lilly’s Bioproduct R&D organization. During her time at Illinois, she worked as an undergraduate researcher in Gene Robinson’s laboratory studying gene expression in honeybees and volunteered with Engineering Outreach Society and G.A.M.E.S. camp.
