We analyze one-dimensional topological triplet superconductivity and  show that zero modes accompanying dynamical instanton events strongly enhance - in some cases even enable - superconductivity. The origin of this behavior is a θ-term in the action that governs the  dynamics of such superconductors. It enables algebraic charge-2e superconductivity, which is destroyed by fluctuations in non-topological systems. Our results rely on the Haldane conjecture for spin chains and serve as an example that topological field theories strongly affect the formation of widely discussed vestigial states of order.
