Kandice Chuh is a Professor of English and Executive Officer of the PhD program in English at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York. Chuh is also a member of the M.A. in Liberal Studies faculty, and is affiliated to the American studies and Africana studies programs. Her current research focuses on Asian racialization in the era of globalization. At the Graduate Center, Chuh teaches courses in critical theory, aesthetics, race and intersectionality, queer theory, and decolonial studies.

 

Gayatri Gopinath is a Professor, the Director of Gender & Sexuality Studies, and the Director of the Center for the Study of Gender & Sexuality at New York University. Her research centers on transnational queer and feminist studies, postcolonial studies, Asian diaspora studies, visual art, and performance.
