Join us for a talk by cultural organizer, arts administrator, performance poet, and host Tiff Beatty, Program Director of Arts, Culture, and Public Policy at the National Public Housing Museum in Chicago. This lecture is presented as part of the exhibition Black on Black on Black on Black.

About the Artist

Tiffanie L. Beatty, better known as Tiff Beatty, develops public and educational programming, as well as diversity and equity initiatives for arts, culture, and humanities institutions.

She is a spoken word poet, conversation moderator, and host of Chicago’s only bonfire cypher, Art Is Bonfire. Beatty is a co-founder of House of the Lorde, a Black feminist arts space, and a featured performer in productions such as The People’s Church of the G.H.E.T.T.O (2019) and Thank the Lorde (2018).

Tiff Beatty was a 2020-2021 Chicago United for Equity Senior Fellow and a recipient of a 2019 Field Leader Award from the Field Foundation. She lives in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood and was born and raised in Tacoma, WA.
