About the Speaker
Dr. Nicolas Stauff leads the Nuclear Applications and Economics group at the Argonne National Laboratory. In this position, he supports DOE-NE, ARPA-E and the nuclear industry in the fields of reactor physics, fuel cycle analyses, and economics assessment for advanced nuclear reactors. In particular, he is contributing to the development of advanced reactor designs in collaboration with industry. Before joining Argonne in 2012, Dr. Nicolas Stauff performed research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and at the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA). He received his Ph.D. in nuclear engineering from the University of Paris XI in France.
