Spurlock Museum - General

The Creative Writing Club promotes a variety of different writing styles and encourages the development of these styles though fun brainstorming activities and group collaboration. Flor Poetry seeks self-discovery and self-appreciation through poetry and music. The Collective Magazine is a free-form arts and humanities magazine and a platform for UIUC artists to collaborate and showcase their work.

Additionally, the event includes fun poetry writing activities and the Museum’s galleries will be open for you to explore and seek inspiration for your next poem. After the scheduled readings, there will be an open-mic poetry reading segment. Open-mic spots are limited, so come early to sign up for a spot. Light refreshments will be served.
