Engaging Faculty in an Empowered University: Reimagining the Meaning of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Dr. Gloria Ladson-Billings is the former Kellner Family Distinguished Chair in Urban Education and Professor Emerita from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is Immediate Past President of the National Academy of Education and former (2005-2006) President of the American Educational Research Association. A holder of nine international and national honorary degrees, Ladson-Billings is author/editor of 18 books and more than 100 book chapters and journal articles including the critically acclaimed, “The Dreamkeepers: Successful Teachers of African American Children.”
