Navsaria (MSLIS ’04) is an associate professor of pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. With graduate degrees in public health, children’s librarianship, and medicine, Navsaria brings a unique skillset to his roles as physician, public health professional, and children’s health advocate. He is the founding medical director of Reach Out and Read Wisconsin, a nonprofit organization that helps integrate reading into pediatric practices, advise families about the importance of reading with their children, and share books that serve as a catalyst for healthy childhood development.
