The Data-Sitters Club is a team of interdisciplinary, feminist scholars brought together by their shared interest in Digital Humanities and their affection for Ann M. Martin’s The Baby-Sitters Club series (published by Scholastic, 1986-2000). Supported by the Stanford Literary Lab, the Data-Sitters apply digital humanities computational text analysis tools to The Baby-Sitters Club corpus and support emerging scholars in the field by writing about the process in an accessible way. Please visit their website to learn more about the Data-Sitters Club and their work.
