There are innumerable variety and voluminous collections of sources for disciplines and subjects represented within Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies (REEES). Whether you are starting out as a student or a distinguished scholar working on a book project, the task of identifying primary and secondary sources for specific projects can be overwhelming. Join us for an informal discussion on sources. Faculty panelists and reference librarians from the Slavic Reference Service will share perspectives and strategies on how to identify and work with relevant sources.
Speakers: Curtis Richardson (University of North Carolina) “One Scholar's Long-Term Navigation of REEES Sources: Some Thoughts"; and Clare Griffin (Indiana University) “Accessing Premodern Sources on Russia Outside of Russia.”
