A traditional concert band with set instrumentation, the University Band performs large ensemble works and is specifically focused on providing members with a variety of quality repertoire, unique/untraditional repertoire, and non-traditional collaborations. The ensemble is specifically geared to serve non-music majors who want to enjoy playing and improve their skills, and music education students on secondary instruments who wish to become familiar with more repertoire and other instruments than their primary.

Due to pandemic-related staffing shortages, Stage 5 Bar will be closed in the afternoon on Sunday, November 14.

Tickets for this event will go on sale to the public at 10am on Tuesday, October 5. Tickets will be sold online only as mobile or print-at-home tickets and are not available for purchase by phone or at the Ticket Office counter. Before the on-sale date, please visit Krannert Center’s online ticket office to ensure you have or can create an active account. All 2021-2022 ticket on-sale dates are now available. To learn about early ticket-buying opportunities, please contact Krannert Center’s Advancement team: 217.333.6700 or advancement@krannertcenter.illinois.edu.
