Michael oversees a team of risk control professionals across the United States, delivering consulting services focused on global safety standards and regulatory compliance. His responsibilities include building strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, developing strategic risk-reduction plans, and leading the innovation of new service offerings aligned with customer objectives. Michael joined Liberty Mutual in 2014 and has supported the UPS Dedicated Team for more than 12 years in various roles and locations nationwide. In recognition of his leadership and impact, he was named a National Safety Council Rising Star of Safety in 2018.

Michael leads multi-location consulting efforts supporting more than 70 customer facilities globally, leveraging regulatory expertise to enhance operational performance. He is committed to collaboration and partnership, ensuring high-quality service through strong internal and external relationships. Passionate about innovation, Michael has championed the implementation of new technologies and service models to identify and reduce risk. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and maintains professional designations including CSP, ARM, and CPCU. 

Outside of work, Michael enjoys time with his wife, two children, and dog, exploring craft beers, and learning new skills.
