Hi everyone, we've only got a week left until the Spring Break! I know you all are excited about the Spring Break and the 2025 March Madness. But do you know what is more exciting? "PIEing" esteemed professors and Yehya!!

Mark your calendars for this epic Pi Day Social hosted by IEEE and ACM! This social will consist of two parts: PIEing event and trivia.

The PIEing event will take place on Bardeen Quad from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, where you’ll have the chance to PIE not only the executive board members of IEEE and ACM but also U of I faculty members for just $5! All proceeds will go to the Wesley Food Pantry to support those in need. The faculty list is as follows:

  1. - Alexey G. Stepanov (STAT)
  2. - Kelly Findley (STAT)
  3. - Tim Stelzer (PHYS)
  4. - G. Carl Evans (CS)
  5. - Yehya Sleiman Tellawi (ECE)

The trivia will take place immediately after, in Engineering Hall room 106B8, where we will be serving pies as well! The trivia will be about Pi.

Don't miss out on this awesome event!

*"PIEing" is a playful term that refers to the act of splashing someone’s face with a pie, often filled with whipped cream or some other soft, messy filling. It is commonly seen in comedic or lighthearted situations, like in movies, TV shows, or pranks. The "pie" can be metaphorical or literal, but it's typically done for fun and is not meant to cause harm
