In this presentation I will be covering how my previous experience has shaped my current approach to teaching.
Jule Schatz is a 5th year computer science PhD student at the University of Michigan working with John E. Laird on cognitive modeling. During her time at Michigan Jule has taught for multiple semesters with responsibilities including creating projects, writing exams, running discussion sections, creating lab content, and lecturing. While teaching she has focused on improving the climate and diversity of the computer science department. Her efforts have resulted in multiple teaching and mentoring awards.
